Got a Ticket in Alameda? Need Traffic School?
Can You Explain How Alameda County Traffic School Works?
Sure! First of all, our course is offered through the Internet. That means you don’t have to wake up early, get dressed and sit in a drab room all day long. You register online, pay the appropriate fees ($19.99 or $26.99, depending on the type of course you choose) and then you complete all 340 minutes of the course at your convenience. It cannot get any simpler than that!
Once you get through all the material, you must then take a DMV-required final exam consisting of 25 questions. If you pass (which means getting 70% or higher), you receive a ‘completion reception’ and your results are of course forwarded to the DMV. If you fail, then you get to retake it one more time. If you fail again, then you are disqualified and will have to find another school.
Reduce Points On Your DMV Record
Traffic school serves several purposes. Its most important purpose is to inform you about the rules and regulations of the road. Testimonial after testimonial shows that drivers learn a lot from traffic school. This information helps them drive a lot safely on the road, which in turn helps them avoid getting more tickets.
However, attending traffic school affords you many more benefits:
Log In And Log Out As You Please
Where our program differs from others around the country is that you can complete it at your convenience. You can either read through a booklet or watch online courses. We definitely recommend the online courses because they are more entertaining and interesting. Regardless, this certainly beats spending 20 or more hours over the course of a week or two listening to a teacher lecture to you.
Alameda County Defensive Driving School Eligibility
The eligibility process starts with your ticket. On the ticket, you may notice that there is an option to attend traffic school. If you see this option, then all you need to do is sign up and finish the course, as well as pay off any court fees. Keep in mind that you can only attend traffic school once ever 18 months. So if this is your second or third ticket within an 18-month period, then you’re unfortunately out of luck.
Fully Licensed In California
The last thing you need to know is that our traffic school is fully licensed in California. So long as you got your ticket in California, you can participate in your school. So stop waiting and sign up now!
